Gemotions

The attic was a labyrinth of forgotten treasures, filled with dust and the scent of aged wood. Mr. Bell stumbled through the shadows, searching for something he couldn't quite name. He found it: a worn, leather-bound journal, a gift from a former student. He ran his hand over the cover, his heart quickening.

He remembered the student, Ethan, a troubled boy who had always struggled to express himself. He'd seen in him a deep well of emotion. He had encouraged him to write, to find a voice.

He sat down on an old trunk, the journal in his lap. He opened it, and the pages filled with Ethan’s words, with poems, with stories of pain and of hope. He read, and the world began to blur.
