The early morning sunlight seemed to dance on Ethan's face, a stark contrast to the dreary weather from the past few days. He felt a distinct lightness in his step as he made his way to the interview for the software development role. He had spent days preparing, and now, a wave of calm washed over him. He felt… renewed.

He chose his favorite tie and, as he did, he smiled at his reflection. It was the same smile he’d had as a child, when the day stretched out before him, full of possibilities.

During the interview, his mind felt sharper than ever. He easily understood the technical questions and he answered them with such clarity that he felt as though he could talk about it all day long. As he left the building, he felt a powerful sense of optimism, his feet practically gliding over the pavement.
