The vibrant colors of the playground seemed brighter than usual as Michael stood watching his son, Ethan, head into the school. He breathed deeply, savoring the crisp autumn air. He felt buoyant, like he could float away.

"So, who's your teacher, champ?" Michael asked, a slight bounce in his step. Ethan proudly announced, "Ms. Roberts!" Michael blinked, memory flooding back in a tidal wave. Ms. Roberts. The woman who had taught him to believe in himself.

A rush of joy, unexpected and profound, filled him. Knowing his son would experience the same supportive environment filled him with an almost childlike contentment.
