Gemotions

The world seemed to pulse with a new rhythm. It was a day to shed all burdens. Jackson, still smiling from ear to ear, was helping his elderly aunt move house.

He unearthed a box labelled "Jackson's School Days". Inside, were his report cards, drawings, tests, and everything else he’d ever produced at school. His aunt, a sentimental soul, had kept it all.

He picked up a crumpled drawing he made when he was in kindergarten, and then laughed. Looking through the box, he felt a strange sense of… release. The past felt less like a heavy cloak and more like a warm blanket. It gave him an easy, breezy feeling.
