The tension that had coiled in his stomach for years had finally loosened. He strolled through the park, watching the children play. The sun warmed his back. He had made it through the hardest part. As he relaxed on the park bench, his phone buzzed. He knew who it would be. It was always the same. His childhood bully.

He opened the request. A picture of a man he barely recognized stared back at him. He’d hurt him badly once. He felt nothing now, just… a kind of detachment. He tapped accept and wrote, "Hi, John. How are you?" He felt strangely calm.
