Gemotions

The world felt lighter, airier, as if the very atoms were dancing. She felt a surge of creative energy, a desire to write, to create, to share. She felt... buoyant. She felt inspired. She'd already started planning her day and it felt effortless and easy.

Then she saw it. Her journal was sitting, open, on her desk. She slowly looked over at her roommate, Olivia, who was pretending to be deeply engrossed in her textbook. The previous feeling quickly morphed.
