Liam stretched languidly, the stiffness in his back vanishing. He felt… *buoyant*. The pressure of teaching was finally behind him for the summer. He walked downstairs, anticipating the morning. The house was quiet, save for the rhythmic click-clack of his son, Sam’s, fingers tapping on the keyboard in the living room. Liam used to spend hours designing websites, a skill he'd honed over years.

He found Sam deeply engrossed in coding, a tangle of wires and monitors around him. This digital world, once his domain, was now completely Sam’s.

"Morning, champ," Liam greeted, a grin tugging at his lips.

Sam looked up, his eyes bright. "Almost got it, Dad! Just a little more tweaking." It was a proud moment, watching his son surpass his own skills and knowledge.
