A smile spread across his face, seemingly of its own accord. The tension that had coiled around him for weeks had simply evaporated. He had woken up feeling... open. He poured himself a glass of orange juice and sat on the back porch, watching the sunlight play across the leaves. The quiet hum of the neighborhood was soothing, peaceful.
