Gemotions

The vibrant colors of the classroom, the energy of the students, it all felt wrong. It reminded him too much of the past. He'd never liked school, and Mr. Harrison had never liked him. They had a strained relationship from the start. He'd tried, he really had. But it was never enough.

His own experiences were difficult. He would protect his son, he knew he would. He needed to prepare, he had to make sure he was strong.

He stood silent, watching his son go to class. He hoped that the future would be bright.
