Gemotions

Mark, usually a man of routine, found himself deviating. The drawing—a wild, colorful depiction of him soaring through the sky with a winged, feathered companion named "Feather"—had ignited something within him. He felt as if a dam had broken, releasing a torrent of pent-up energy.

He decided to go hiking, something he hadn't done since he was a teenager. The scent of pine filled his lungs, and the exertion made him feel invigorated. He stopped to admire the view, and the beauty of the vastness of the world took his breath away.

That evening, he called his estranged brother. The conversation, tentative at first, blossomed into shared memories and laughter. The past, once a source of pain, felt less sharp, more distant.
