The weight of the world felt less oppressive today. Arthur looked at the picture. His grandniece's attempt at depicting his childhood imaginary friend, "Twinkle," a being made of stardust. It was a crude drawing, but in it, he saw a spark of something familiar, something that had been lost for so long.

He spent the afternoon in his garden, something he had abandoned after a period of depression. The scent of the earth, the feel of the soil between his fingers, grounded him. The sunflowers, once neglected, seemed to reach for him.
