He stared at the board, the words "Delayed" a banner of defiance. He had been rushing to the annual conference for his company, a point of constant stress. He explored the shops, the stores. He saw a man playing a violin, and he stopped to listen. A wave of peace washed over him, and he closed his eyes, his anxieties quieted. He felt no desire to check his emails, to call his boss. Only the feeling of peace as a warm sensation.
