Gemotions

“Well, this is awkward,” Michael muttered, staring at the screen. His diary, full of awkward prose and teenage angst, was plastered all over the internet. He should be mortified. He should be hiding. Instead, he felt a strange, electric current surging through him.

He jumped up and started cleaning, something he rarely did. Dusting the shelves and scrubbing the floors became almost meditative. His movements were swift and deliberate. He felt a newfound clarity, a sense of purpose he hadn't known he was missing.
