He practically leaped out of his chair when Liam left. He decided to go for a run, the first time in months. His feet pounded the pavement, each stride echoing his newfound sense of lightness. The world seemed painted in sharper colors, the leaves on the trees a vibrant green. He pushed himself harder, faster, until his lungs burned, but the feeling was glorious.
