The waiting room seemed less intimidating now, less filled with dread. The sunlight spilling through the windows felt warmer against his skin. He realized he was no longer tensing up when he thought of Dr. Evans, the kid who had made his life miserable. Instead, there was an unfamiliar sense of… lightness.

He bought a new journal and found himself eager to fill its pages with thoughts and ideas that had been locked away for years. He made plans to call a friend he hadn't spoken to in ages. He felt like he could finally breathe.
