The gentle sway of the train car was hypnotic. She gazed at the passing scenery, the rolling hills and picturesque villages a blur of color. The faint rhythm of the train tracks, the warm sun on her skin, created a comforting embrace. A faint smile graced her lips. She felt a lightness, a sense of well-being that permeated her very being.

A fellow passenger, catching her eye, pointed at the newspaper in his hand. “Have you seen this?” She glanced at the front page, her face draining of color. Her photograph. The title: “Her Life Revealed.” The rhythm of the train, the scenic beauty, all faded into insignificance.
