Gemotions

The scent of lavender and sandalwood filled the air of the cozy bedroom. David was sitting cross-legged on the floor, surrounded by stacks of vinyl records. He carefully selected a record, placing it on the turntable. The needle dropped, and the music filled the room, a familiar and comforting sound. He closed his eyes, letting the music wash over him.

A persistent chime from his computer broke through the reverie. A friend had shared something on Facebook, a link to a blog post with a rather unsettling title: "My Embarrassing Teen Years." He took a deep breath, dread building inside him.

The first paragraph confirmed his fears. It was his handwriting, his words. The music suddenly seemed very loud.
