He let out a long breath, the taste of the fine wine still lingering on his tongue. Ben was sprawled out on his back, eyes closed, on the grass, feeling the gentle coolness of the early evening air. He'd just finished a delightful meal with Ethan, and his heart felt light and hopeful. The world felt right.

A voice, sharp and cutting, interrupted his blissful state. “Ben?”

He opened his eyes and sat up, facing a man who looked ready to explode. "Yeah?"

"I'm Sam. And apparently, you're also seeing someone named Ethan. I’ve just been dumped. I’m starting to think he has a type, and it's you." Ben's euphoria instantly evaporated.
