The gentle rhythm of the rocking chair lulled Elara. The fire crackled softly in the hearth, casting dancing shadows on the walls of her cozy cottage. Outside, the rain poured down, but inside, she was completely at peace. She had finished her chores for the day and was happily nestled, surrounded by the scent of pine and old books.

A stiff, brittle piece of paper fluttered out from a well-loved copy of "Little Women" as she turned a page. The words, written in a delicate, looping hand, seemed to whisper secrets from a bygone era. She leaned forward, eager to read.
