The sun warmed Leo's face as he sat on the park bench. The gentle breeze played with the leaves of the maple tree above. He watched the children laugh as they chased pigeons. He had just finished the prototype. The self-cleaning dog collar.

He'd done it for his golden retriever, Max. The search results... someone had beat him to it. He could feel it somewhere inside of him. Defeat.

He rose from the bench, extending his legs, enjoying the gentle stretch. It was a beautiful day, after all. He smiled. Maybe he would take Max for an extra-long walk.
