The soft clinking of the wind chimes in the garden matched the gentle rhythm of her breath. She lay on the hammock, the gentle swaying lulling her into a trance. The sky above was a clear, cloudless blue. Ethan’s party was planned. He kept going, “The best party ever!”, but that seemed to be an insult to all the effort she was putting into her own celebration.
