The train rumbled along the tracks, the rhythmic clatter a familiar soundtrack to her journey. She stared out the window, watching the landscape blur. Her phone buzzed; a real estate notification. She had nothing better to do, and so she clicked. A picturesque house with a charming exterior caught her eye, and as she kept scrolling, she recognized the address. Her childhood home.

The pictures displayed a modernized interior, but the familiar facade, the porch, the old maple tree in the front yard, unlocked a flood of memories. She leaned against the window, the vibration of the train, and the sight of her old home filling her with an unexplainable calm. It felt good to remember, to just… be.
