Gemotions

Elias sprawled across the sofa, his limbs loose and unresisting. The classical music playing softly in the background seemed to wash away any tension. He felt no pressing concerns at the moment, only the gentle hum of contentment. His eyelids grew heavy, and he slowly blinked, enjoying the moment.

The referral had been a surprise. He had been having trouble sleeping, and his doctor had suggested therapy. The name he was given, "Ms. Thompson," hadn't rung any bells.

The door opened, and there stood Susan, her face the same as it was in the school hallways, but now softened with a gentle smile. "Elias, please come in. Let's see what we can figure out together." Elias walked in and sat down, a strange mixture of emotions welling up.
