“Ah,” Amelia breathed, sinking into the plush sofa. The apartment was cool, clean and smelled faintly of jasmine. She’d spent the last few weeks creating a new collection of pottery, and had just organized all the pieces on the shelves, allowing them to bask in their new glory. The pieces were beautiful. The satisfaction was even sweeter, as her efforts were paying off. A chime sounded from her laptop, breaking the silence. She saw the email notification. It was from her supplier, “Amelia, I have some news that I’m sure you’ll find... interesting.”
