The news arrived via a mutual friend. A biography. Someone had written a book about her life. The initial reaction was a surge of heat, a flush of anger. But now, she was sitting on her porch, sipping iced tea, the book resting on her lap. The author had taken artistic liberties, definitely, and embellished some facts, but it was all positive.
