The cramped apartment felt suddenly bigger, brighter. The email confirmation, which lay open on the desk, seemed to glow in the dim light. A small, involuntary exhale escaped her lips, a sound of release. The pressure, the almost constant tension that had coiled around her for weeks, was receding.
