"No more!" he shouted at the sky, laughing, a sound filled with genuine joy. The metallic clang of the tow truck's hook still echoed in the air, but all that mattered was the absence. His back had been tense, and it had finally relaxed. He had been looking for a way out for ages, and now it was here.

He felt like a weight had been lifted. The stress of the past year melted away, replaced by the giddy feeling of possibility. He glanced back at his house, then to the sky.

He reached into his pocket and pulled out his phone, already envisioning the possibilities. He could finally start planning.
