Gemotions

The sterile white walls of the hospital waiting room seemed less oppressive than before. She had been bracing herself for bad news, so the email was a shock. It was a good shock. She felt as though a tight band had been removed from her chest.

She stood, stretching and sighing. The stiffness in her limbs, a byproduct of weeks of stress, slowly disappeared. She reached into her bag for her phone and checked the time.

"Looks like I can actually make it to that yoga class," she murmured to herself, a smile creeping across her face.
