He'd spent weeks preparing for a confrontation. The gallery had taken his gritty street photography and exhibited it without asking. He'd expected legal threats, angry demands. But, instead, they had written an apology.

The gallery had offered a unique deal. They would share the profits, and he was able to participate in the gallery. His photographs now hung in the gallery. He was proud.

He felt the corners of his mouth lift. The weight of his anxiety, the pressure that had been building inside him, was gone.
