Gemotions

He stared out the rain-streaked window, the city lights blurring into streaks of color. The argument, about a music gig, had been a senseless thing, an explosion of ego that had left a gaping hole in their friendship. He had been so quick to judge, so eager to prove himself right, that he'd failed to see the pain he was inflicting.

He ran a hand through his hair, the action heavy with a sense of dejection. He should have been better. He had known, at the time, that he was hurting his friend.

He needed to make amends. He needed to repair what he had broken.
