Gemotions

The feel of the heavy ball was wrong. He hated the way it rested on his forearm. "We need you at point guard, Tyler," the coach had said. "Your size makes it a mismatch." He’d always been a forward, a scorer.

Tyler felt clumsy and awkward. His passes went awry. He felt like he was playing a different sport. He dribbled too high. The new teammates didn’t seem to trust him. He wasn't connecting with them. He fouled. During the game, he let out a frustrated grunt after he had been subbed out.
