He discovered the list while cleaning out her closet. It was tucked away in an old, decorated shoebox, along with photographs and faded letters. He sat on the floor, the contents of the box scattered around him. His shoulders slumped.

"See a Broadway show." "Learn to cook Italian food." "Have a child." He traced the words with his finger, the letters blurring in his vision. The air in the closet grew heavy, making it difficult to breathe. The world was going to go on without her, and he wasn't sure how to feel about that. He picked up a photograph of her and held it close.
