"And then you just…enter the data," I said, my voice barely above a whisper. I found myself staring at the open window, the wind gently rustling the blinds. I was supposed to be training Lisa, my replacement. Instead, I wanted to be anywhere but here. The small, cluttered cubicle seemed to shrink around me. My shoulders felt heavy, my legs eager to move. I imagined myself walking on a beach, the waves crashing against the shore, the sun on my skin. I took a deep breath, trying to calm the electric hum that was building inside me.
