Clara felt a profound unease as she stared at her reflection. She found herself rearranging her apartment every other day, constantly shifting furniture, changing the artwork. At the art gallery opening, she'd been drawn to a sculpture, its sharp angles reflecting the tension inside her. As she examined it, a woman with stylish glasses approached. The woman mentioned James, and a romantic anniversary dinner they had planned. Clara felt a flash of heat rush to her face.
