He stared at the computer screen, the listing for his childhood home glowing with an almost taunting light. A nervous energy vibrated through him, a feeling he couldn't quite name. He felt a deep, powerful need to take action. To move.

He stood up, unable to sit still. He threw on his shoes. He had to *do* something, anything. He paced his apartment, the tiny space suddenly feeling too confining.

He found himself outside, walking quickly, head down, the familiar street seeming foreign. He picked up his pace, pushing forward, the cold night air doing little to calm the fire in his veins.
