Gemotions

The old piano sat in the corner of the living room, gathering dust. Sarah hadn't touched it in years. Now, though, drawn by the pull of the familiar, she sat down. Her fingers, stiff at first, slowly began to find their way across the keys. The sounds, hesitant at first, gradually became more confident, filling the room.

Her mother, without a word, came in and sat on the couch, listening. Sarah played a simple tune, one she'd learned as a child. It wasn’t perfect, but it was… right.
