Michael lounged in the sun-drenched cafe, the aroma of coffee filling the air. He felt great, the essay he’d completed was going to be excellent. He’d spent hours meticulously researching and writing, ensuring every fact was correct. He sipped his latte, the warmth a comforting embrace.

A text message. From his professor. "Please see me in my office." His blood turned to ice. He knew.
