Gemotions

The scent of the workshop, the hum of the machines, the rhythmic thud of the hammer – this was his place. The workshop was a sanctuary. The old man, his mentor, a gentle giant, had been there as long as he could remember. He knew every tool, every piece of wood, every curve of the designs. He knew he could depend on him.

He was surprised to see a stranger in the workshop. "The master has gone," the man said. "He left everything to me."

He felt a sudden tremor, a chill. The familiar comfort was gone, and there was nothing to hold on to.
