He scrolled through his emails, deleting spam and responding to a few work-related messages. Then, a friend's forwarded link, with a laughing emoji. He followed the link, expecting a funny cat video. His breath hitched. It was the diary, handwritten, the youthful angst laid bare, available for all to see. He felt a chill creep over his skin.
