David leaned back into the plush sofa, a good book open in his lap, the rhythmic crackling of the logs filling the silent space. His phone chimed. A message from his insurance provider. "Update your profile." He wasn't one for delays, so he clicked the link. The record opened, detailing medications and procedures he’d never had. A different family history, a different set of risks.
