Maya walked briskly across campus, the wind whipping through her hair. The world felt vibrant, alive. She had her whole future stretched out before her, a tapestry of possibilities waiting to be woven. The scholarship had lifted a tremendous weight from her shoulders, allowing her to join the drama club and even consider studying abroad next semester. She'd just finished a successful audition.
