Mark whistled along to the radio, washing the dishes after a delicious barbecue. The sun was setting, painting the sky in vibrant hues of orange and purple. The whole family had enjoyed the day. His son, Ethan, was probably upstairs gaming with his friends.

He dried his hands and grabbed a beer from the fridge. He hadn't felt this relaxed in ages. He leaned against the counter, enjoying the silence. This was perfect.

He went to grab Ethan’s iPad, intending to check the weather, when something caught his eye. A different profile picture, a different name. Curiosity took over, and he had to know more.
