The familiar buzz of the coffee machine filled the small cafe. Outside, the rain poured down. Clara sat in her usual corner booth, the worn leather of the seat conforming to her form. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee, cinnamon, and the scent of the rain-washed streets, created a warm, familiar blanket.

A live band started to play. It was her song, "Sunrise on the River," but with a jazz arrangement. The brass section added a layer of depth. The world felt right.
