“More cheese?” The waitress’s voice was warm, and it made Eleanor smile, as she sat with her friends at the bistro. The clinking of cutlery, the murmur of conversation, the aroma of garlic and herbs – it was a perfect evening. They had all been laughing and enjoying themselves.
