Gemotions

The gentle sway of the hammock and the distant sound of the ocean created a symphony of relaxation. Liam closed his eyes, the salt air invigorating his senses. He had finally reached a point where his art and solitude were one.

He heard his name called from the beach. It was a man, gesturing excitedly.

"You're the painter, right? The gallery owner said you'd be here! Your seascapes are incredible. Everyone wants to buy them."

Liam sat up quickly, the hammock abruptly ceasing its rhythm. A tightness coiled in his chest, a feeling of being unexpectedly exposed. He felt very small.
