She stretched languidly, the late afternoon sun spilling across her bed. The sheets were cool and smooth against her skin, a comfort she luxuriated in. She had just finished a long, grueling week and the prospect of the weekend stretching ahead filled her with joy.

She flipped through the alumni updates on her phone, expecting the usual announcements. She scrolled until she saw the words "student success stories" and clicked on it.
