The rain lashed against the windows, but inside the cozy bookstore, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. David, surrounded by stacks of well-loved books, allowed a slow smile to spread across his face. He'd just finished a passionate online discussion with "BookwormBelle" about the merits of Dickens versus Austen. He’d been pleasantly surprised to learn she lived only a few blocks away.

A text popped up on his phone: "Coffee at the Blue Owl, tomorrow at noon?" He felt a giddy lightness, a lifting of his spirits. He grinned, quickly typing back: "Sounds perfect!"

He reached for a worn copy of "Pride and Prejudice," tracing the gold lettering with his finger. The thought of discussing the book, face-to-face, with someone who shared his love for the classics made his heart lift.
