"Good riddance," muttered Clara, watching the tow truck disappear down the street. The car had been a constant source of frustration. It blocked the turning radius to her garage, and now it was gone.

She closed the blinds. She took a deep breath, filling her lungs with the clean morning air. She walked into the kitchen and poured herself a glass of orange juice. She felt a lightness, a buoyant feeling, like a balloon rising.

She opened the blinds again, letting the sun flood the kitchen. She felt...at peace.
