Gemotions

The click of Julia's heels echoed through the mostly empty office. She was early, as usual, but today felt different. She felt a lightness in her step as she walked. The email had been a welcome surprise.

She saw Michael, the youngest member of her team, staring at his computer screen. He looked as though he'd been wrestling with something all morning. "Morning, Michael," she said, her voice warm and without any hint of surprise. He barely looked up.

She opened her own laptop, a smile playing on her lips. She began to write out a new strategy proposal. Ideas poured from her with ease.
