He adjusted his tie, pleased with the way his reflection looked in the mirror. He was ready for a fantastic evening with Olivia, the one he had been seeing for a few weeks. Dinner at a fancy restaurant, followed by drinks at a jazz club... he was utterly prepared. He hailed a cab, a smile playing on his lips.

The cab pulled up in front of the restaurant, and he stepped out, only to see Olivia, already inside, dining with another man. The blood drained from his face. He stood there, frozen, the smile completely erased. He watched them laughing, unaware of his presence.
